The Old Royal Oak offers six comfortable en-suite rooms in a conversion of the original livery stable. Twin and double options include a TV, wireless internet, tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer - practical for leisure stays and short business trips into Harrogate, Leeds or York in 2026.

We can also provide a 'service' for washing and ironing on request.

The cost of the rooms includes a full English breakfast available in the main pub building, for the duration of your stay.

Costs per room per night:
- Double £90.00
- Twin £90.00
- Single occupancy twin or double £70.00 ( Sunday -Thursday)

No Reduction for single rates apply at busy times.

There is car parking space at the rear of the building. This is provided on a "First Come First Served Basis". At busy times there is parking available in local carparks.

Check in is 2pm and check out is 11am.

Guests arriving from London often combine a Market Square stay with a furniture or house move. If you need a careful London collection before heading north, a reliable man and van service can handle the capital-side pickup while you settle into Knaresborough for the night.
