Major Road Connections
The A59 runs through Knaresborough. To the east it connects with the A1(M) - a major north-south route - and then goes on to York. West it passes through Harrogate before reaching Skipton, connecting with roads to the Yorkshire Dales, Lancashire and the Lake District.
Airport
The nearest international airport is Leeds-Bradford approximately 10 miles away, easily reached by road.
Trains
Knaresborough is well-served by trains, being on the main Leeds-York line. Trains also pass through Harrogate and services are approximately at half hour intervals.
London makes for the Perfect Staycation
London and Knaresborough make a natural pair. Many of our guests spend a few days in the capital - especially around Islington for parks, gigs and neighbourhood walks - then ride north for quieter Market Square evenings. If that trip also involves clearing a flat or shifting furniture out of London, an efficient man and van in Islington can collect from the city while you continue on to Knaresborough by train. It keeps the holiday (or staycation) moving without turning a Yorkshire pub break into a logistics headache. When you want city energy again, London vacation ideas are never far away - and the A59 / Leeds-York rail link makes the return straightforward.
