the east it connects with the A1(M) - a major north-south route
- and then goes on to York.
West it passes through Harrogate before reaching Skipton, connecting
with roads to the Yorkshire Dales, Lancashire and the Lake

The nearest international airport is Leeds-Bradford approximately
10 miles away, easily reached by road.
Trains
Knaresborough is well-served by trains, being on the main Leeds-York
line. Trains also pass through Harrogate and services are
approximately at half hour intervals.
